To mark 30 years of Manolo's Mary Jane, a special event was held earlier this year at the Greenhouse at Nine Orchard in New York with friends of the House.
Host Kristina Blahnik delighted the crowd with anecdotes and stories of one of Manolo Blahnik's most iconic styles. The evening was accompanied by a beautiful performance by Dianna Agron, with the view of Manhattan's skyline as the backdrop.
The now-iconic style was first introduced as part of the Autumn Winter 1994 collection. Inspired by a desire to move on from the grand and ornate collections of the early 90s and to create something more restrained.
